Can you find the length of a line? Why or why not?

Yes, you can. You would need a frame of reference first. Let's say there is a table, and its 3 yards across. thats 9 feet. If we stretched a line across it, and say it covered half of that length, it would be about 4.5 feet long, or 54 inches.
If it were on a graph, you would probably measure in units. However many squares is how many units it stretches.
