Answer. 5/7
Explanation. In order to subtract two fractions, the denominators must be the same to receive the difference. So, let’s fine the least common denominator:
To get the denominator (4) to 28, we must multiply the fraction by 7.
21/28- 1/28, yeh denominator does not change, now we must simply subtract the numerators. 21- 1= 20. Our answer is 20/28 which can reduce/simplify to 5/7. Hope this helps, let me know if it’s correct so others can use it :)
Good luck.

Answer:

5/7

Explanation:

First, find common denominators.

3/4 -> 21/28

1/18

Second, subtract both numerators

21/28 - 1/28 = 20/28

Third, simplify the fraction.

20/28 -> 10/14 -> 5/7

Best of Luck!
