Another difference was that in 1918, between 50 & 100 million people died within two years. One similarity is the most obvious...with both viruses being deadly & spread quickly. In addition, another difference is that coronavirus seems to target the elderly the most. Another similarity is the symptoms, with both having coughing, fever, night sweats, body aches, tiredness, nausea & diarrhea in some severe cases.
