Explanation:

she started out with 25 mangos for $7.50

she then sold 12 mangos for $7.15 leaving her with 13 mangos

she then sold the remaning mangos for 7.20

add $7.15 to $7.20 and you get $14.35

thats the gross profit, and you subtract that by $7.50, how much she bought the mangos for, to get her total net profit.
