if you have.

Answer:

Explanation at the bottom

Explanation:

To find the slope with the 2 points use this --->
(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) Ex: Points (9, 3) (6, 12) --> write it this way
(12 - 3)/(6 - 9) =
(9)/(-3) = -3 so -3 would be the slope of that line.

Then to find the y- intercept use the slope and the numbers from one of the points like this ----> y = mx + b we are looking for b.

(plugging in the first point) (using the point (9,3))

3 = -3(9) + b

3 = -27 + b (add 27 on both sides)

30 = b (that's your y- intercept)

(Full equation is)

y = -3x + 30
