What historical figure (present or past) do you believe should be honored with a monument? Explain (write at least 3 sentences)​

Nikola Tesla. He did not get credit for creating the lightbulb and was described as being an overall decent person. Unlike many current statues, he never owned slaves and never participated in war. Furthermore, he is the reason why we don't have to use candles to do our homework!
