Let, after buying x soda cans money spend is y.

So,
`y=6.25x +35`

It is also given that maximum money he have is $55 .

So, 6.25x + 35 ≤ 55

B)

Now,

6.25x ≤ 20

x ≤ 3.2

i.e x ≤ 3

Therefore, greatest number of sodas Eddie can buy is 3.
