Answer:

L=5

w=3

Explanation:

Length = 3x+4

2L+2W=16

plug in 3x+4 into L

2(3x+4)+2x=16

6x-8+2x=16

6x+2x=16+8

then just do basic algebra

8x=24

divide 24/8

x=3 is the width

5 is the length

L=5

w=3
