Why do you think that scientists discuss manned missions to Mars but not to Venus?

Because it would be easier to send humans on Mars because the conditions on mars are less extreme than on venus.
For example: temperatures on mars range between -125 degrees celcious to 35 degrees celcious while those on venus range between 450 degrees celcious to 475 degrees celcious
