y= -1/5x + 1/5

Explanation:

y- y1 = m(x - x1)

Slope m=-1/5

(1, -4)

1 = y1

-4 = x1

y- 1 = -1/5(x-(-4))

y-1 = -1/5(x+4)

y-1= -1/5(x)+ -1/5(4)

y-1 = -1/5x + -4/5

add one to both sides

y= -1/5x + -4/5 + 1

y = -1/5x + 1/5
