It is difficult for most historians to study early humans as all we have to go by is the skull structure of the early humans, and look through evolution patterns. There were generally no written work when the early humans were in existence, as writing wasn't a thing, all we have to go by is paintings on cavern walls that still stand. This form of work was picked up by the Egyptians with their hieroglyphs.
