My opthmoogist did a laser scan on my option nerve and Medicare said it wasn't necessary and they billed me $220. I signed a paper to pay what my insurance didn't pay, but said nothing about unnessary prcedures to me. Would I be liable to pay for what I didn't know I had a unnessary prcedures done.

Answer:

Yes

Step-by-step explanation:

Based on the information provided I would say that Yes, you are liable to pay for that. Mainly since you signed the paper which basically means you acknowledge your obligation to pay for any and all fees that your insurance does not want to pay. Unfortunately, from this info that you have provided it also means that you have to pay for the procedure that was done to you, even if it was unnecessary.
