2+4(2z+3)=15
Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.
2+4(2z+3)=15
2+(4)(2z)+(4)(3)=15(Distribute)
2+8z+12=15
(8z)+(2+12)=15(Combine Like Terms)
8z+14=15
8z+14=15
Step 2: Subtract 14 from both sides.
8z+14−14=15−14

Step 3: Divide both sides by 8.
