Differentiate homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures

HOMOgeneous = Same/Alike

HETEROgeneous = Diversity/Different

In mixtures:

Homogeneous would be defined as the evenly proportion substance/materials placed throughout the sample, while heterogeneous is the maintain of separate materials/substances throughout the sample.

A homogeneous mixture is one in which its components are mixed in such a way that it is impossible to differentiate them with the naked eye.

The elements of a heterogeneous mixture are distinguishable with the naked eye and their distribution is not uniform.
