Include references to the Harappa/Mohenjo-Daro, the Aryans, and the Dravidians.


Talk about how all three of these societies were interconnected. (Who came first; who came next; who came last?


How were the societies the same? How were they different? Where in the Indus Valley did they live? How did they interact with each other?)


Discuss, specifically, how this interconnection affected or changed the economy, the politics, the society, and the religions of the Indus Valley civilizations.

The Harappa is a ancient civilization from 2500-1600BC then drastically declined , located in the Indus River Valley.The Aryans is a ancient civilization from 1750-500 BCE, located in the Indus River Valley and Ganges Plain.The Dravidians is a ancient civilization from 2200BCE-100 BCE, located in the Indus River Valley.These societies interconnected because the ruins of Harappa and Mohenjo-daro are located on the Indus River and show a high degree of urban planning and extraordinary feats of engineering. In the 1920s, Sir John Marshall rediscovered the site of Mohenjo-daro and scholars began to make connections with the Aryans of the Rg Veda. At first they thought the Aryans founded the Harappan culture, but then they realized the Aryans came later after Harappan culture was already well developed.Much remains mysterious and controversial about the ruins and artifacts and one of the most sensitive issues is the Harappan language, which is preserved mostly on carved seals.The first civilization in the Indus River Valley was the Harappa then was the Dravidians lastly was the Aryans.All these societies are the same because they were all located in the Indus River Valley.They were different because (still looking for da answer).They lived on the Indus river valley Harrappa was more north while Mohenjo-daro was west.The Aryans was located South on current day India.They interacted by.......................
