I know the main definition of permeable, but I’ve been reading a book and it has me kind of confused about how it uses permeable. “Most of my Arizona clothes are too permeable for Washington.” What do they mean by permeable in this sentence?

Answer:

basically, the clothes worn in Arizona are not built for rain, so in Washington, where there is lots of rain, they are not suited for the enviorment
