(8x - 12) + 64 + 68 = 180
(A straight line equals to 180)
8x - 12 + 132 = 180
Combine liked terms
8x + 120 = 180
-120 on both sides
8x = 40
/8 on both sides
x = 5
(8x - 12)
8(5) - 12
40 - 12
28
(2x + 18)
2(5) + 18
10 + 18
28
