I was wondering how to pick up a language for anyone here who is currently self teaching.

practice practice practice... start of with small words and basic sentences (ex.hi how are you my name is ___). Use flashcards. Also something that helped me a lot is watching you tube videos on the language that you are trying to learn and repeat the words to the best of your ability. You might get frustrated but do not give up :) You got this !! hope this helps
