At a pumpkin patch you choose a pumpkin weighing 9.5 pounds and pay $4.75. What is the cost per

pound of the pumpkin?

its $0.5 because when you divide 4.75 by 9.5 you come out with 0.5 and when you multiply 0.5 to 9.5, you come out with 4.75, the number you started out with
