Explanation:

The basic rule is that any non-zero value to the zero power is 1. It doesn't matter whether the value is positive or negative. Raising it to the zero power makes it 1.

So, for question 2 of 8, the two equivalent expressions can be anything raised to the zero power (or anything with a value of 1, for that matter).
