the pattern here is annoying to find, but there is one. the first change is -4, then +6, then -7, then +9. The pattern starts at -4, then after that it increases by 2 and changes from a negative to a positive (and can change the other way). After that change it increases by one and changes from a positive to a negative. Essiently, the pattern is add 2 to the pattern and change the sign, then add 1 to the pattern after that and change the sign, infinitely repeating, with the two after 11 being -2 (gotten from +12 because you add 2 to -10 and change the sign) and 13 (gotten from -13 because you add 1 and change the sign of +12).
