The answer is 84 in

Step 1: area of rectangle
A = a x b
A = 11 x 6
A = 66 in

Step 2: area of triangle
A = 1/2 x a x b
A = 1/2 x 6 x 6
A = 18 in

Step 3: total area
A = 66 + 18
A = 84 in

Answer: 84 in

Explanation:
The area of a triangle would be 1/2 bh so the first step would be to find the area of the triangle. So, you would need to multiply 6*6 and then divide it by 1/2. Then you would need to find the area of the rectangle, for this you would need to multiply the length times the width which would be 6*11 then you just add both of the areas up. which would be 84.
