a = lilies

13 - a = tulips

We have: 1.25a + 0.90(13 - a) = 14.85

=> 1.25a + 11.7 -0.90a = 14.85

=> 0.35a = 14.85 - 11.7 = 3.15

=> a = 3.15 ÷ 0.35 = 9

=> She bought 9 lilies and 4 tulips
