A cylinder has a volume of 1884cm^3. Find the volume of a cone with the same radius and height as the cylinder

Explanation:

The volume V of a cylinder whose radius is r and height is h is given as

V = πr²h

The volume of a cone v of a radius r and height h is also given as

v = 1/3 πr²h

As such , given that the cylinder has a volume of 1,884 cm ³, the volume of a cone with the same radius and height as the cylinder

= 1/3 * 1,884 cm ³

= 628 cm ³
