Based on our studies and understanding of the constitution as well as the principles from which it was founded on, Do you believe that America has accurately lived up to ideas written in the constitution? Why or Why Not?

I think that the constitution outlined the very basic and general rights of the people at that time. Many things have changed since the constitution came into effect in 1789. I believe that the US has lived up to the ideas written and even exceeded it with the additional rights written throughout the years since then. (these rights being included in the bill of rights)
