Distance between two coordinates is given by the formula,

Let A(-7,-6) = (x1 , y1)

B(1,0) = (x2 , y2)

=> AB = √[( 1 - (-7))² + ( 0 - (-6))²]

=> AB = √ 8² + 6² = √ 64 + 36 = √100

=> AB = 10 units
