The length of a rectangle is 2 less than twice the width. If the perimeteris 11m, find the length and width.

Length: 3, Width: 5/2

Explanation:

The width would be w, so the length would be 2w-2. set the equation to equal 11, and set the problem so its 2w-2+2w-2+w+w, or 6w-4=11. w=5/2, then plug in to get your dimensions
