3x . 2 ÷ y = 3(3). 2 ÷ 6

9 × 2 ÷ 6

18÷ 6= 3

2. if a = 2 and b = 4

then (4a)^3 ÷ (b − 2) = (4*2)^3 ÷ (4-2)

8^3 ÷ 2

512 ÷ 2

= 256
