A skier is trying to decide whether or not to buy a season ski pass. A daily pass costs $68. A season ski pass costs $450. The skier would have to rent skis with either pass for $25 per day. How many days would the skier have to go skiing in order to make the season pass less expensive than the daily passes?

Answer:

Five days

Explanation:

Because the skier has to pay $93 a day to ski (68 + 25), in five days of daily pay, the skier would end up paying $465. However, if he paid for a season pass for $450, he would only have to ski for five days in order to make the season pass less expensive than the daily pass.
