work out the length of the side of the square. i tried doing it but i didn’t understand and i got confused

4x-8cm is the same as 5x-20cm

because all sides of a square are equal

so 4x-8 5x-20 are same

finding x

add 20 to both sides

4x+14

5x

take away 4x from both

x=14

one side of circle is 5x14= 70-20=50

one side = 50cm
