Answer: k = 3

Explanation:

1. Find the x of x-1 (which is 1)

2. Plug 1 into the function P(x) and solve.

2(1)^4 - (1)^3 + 2(1)^2 - k = 3 - k

3. Set 3 - k = 0 and solve.
