Answer:

Complementary angles means sum of angles must to 90 degrees.

Supplementary angles means sum of angles must be 180 degrees.

10 degree + 65 degree = 75 degree

10 degree + 65 degree ≠ 90 degree

So, 10-degree angle and a 65-degree angle are

not complementary angles.

40 degree + 50 degree = 90 degree

So, 40-degree angle and a 50-degree angle are

complementary angles.

3.

140 degree + 40 degree = 180 degree

So, 140-degree angle and a 40-degree angle are

supplementary angles.

120 degree + 60 degree = 180 degree

120 degree + 60 degree ≠ 90 degree

So,120-degree angle and a 60-degree angle are

not complementary angles
