Which is the correct use of the distributive property?

90 + 50 = 9 (10 + 5)
42 + 18 = 6 ( 7 +3 )
77 + 66 = 11 (10 + 8)

The answer is 42 + 18 = 6 (7+3)

Explanation 42 + 18 = 60 and 6 (7+3) = 60 the two expression both equal 60

I know someone already answered but they gave the wrong explanation so just wanted to make sure you understood
