d= 40.6m
vi=0
vf= not needed
a=9.81 m/s^2
time= ?
d=vi(t)+0.5(a)(t^2)
40.6m=0(t)+0.5(9.81 m/s^2)(t^2)
40.6=0+4.905(t^2)
40.6=4.905(t^2)
8.27726809=t^2
2.877=t
Answer: 2.88secs
