Explanation:

Let width of the rectangle be y

Length of rectangle = 3y + 12.1

Perimeter = 2(L + y) = 122.6

2 (4y + 12.1 ) = 122.6

8y + 24.2 = 122.6

y = 98.4 / 8

y (width) = 12.3

Length = 49
