How do the expressions 72 divided by 9 and Negative 72 divided by (negative 9) compare when they are evaluated?

-77 divided by 9 has the result of a negative number because when you do a negative number multiplied/divided by a positive number you get a negative number as your product. When you divide -77 by -9 you get a positive number. Because when you divide/multiply two numbers that are negative you get a positive product. So the answer for -77/9 is -8. -77/-9 is 8
