Answer: 10r - 22

Explanation: You distribute (multiply) the 7 and 4 in the parentheses:
-7 • 2r and -7 • 6 = -14r - 42
4 • 6r and 4 • 5 = 24r + 20

After you distribute, you have to add the variable terms and the constant terms!
Your variable terms are -14r and 24r, the sum of both of them is 10r. Your constant terms are -42 and 20. Add the constant terms and you get -22.

Your simplified expression is now:
10r-22
