Answer:

y = 9/2x - 7

y = 2/3x

Explanation:

Question 1:

y = mx + b

y = 9/2x + b

2 = 9/2(2) + b

2 = 9 + b

-7 = b

y = 9/2x - 7

Question 2:

y = mx + b

y = 2/3x b

2 = 2/3(3) + b

2 = 2 + b

0 = b

y = 2/3x

Best of Luck!

Answer:

  1. y = 9/2x - 7
  2. y = 2/3x

Explanation:

Slope intercept form

  • y = mx + b

1. Slope = 9/2, point (2,2)

  • 2 = 9/2*2 + b ⇒ b = 2 - 9 ⇒ b = -7
  • y = 9/2x - 7

2. Slope = 2/3, point (3,2)

  • 2 = 2/3*3 + b ⇒ b = 2 - 2 = 0
  • y = 2/3x
