Alexander signed up for a streaming music service that costs $9 per month. The service allows Alexander to listen to unlimited music, but if he wants to download songs for offline listening, the service charges $0.50 per song. How much total money would Alexander have to pay in a month in which he downloaded 15 songs? How much would he have to pay if he downloaded s songs?

Answer: if he downloaded 15 songs he would have to pay 16.5$ a month because 15 times 0.5= 7.5 and 7.5 plus the 9$ he pays is 16.5.

If he downloaded s songs, the equation is 0.5s+9

Or y=0.5x+9
