A car dealership's goal is to sell a mean of 55 cars per day. In one week, it

sold the following numbers of cars each day:
53, 60, 48, 57, 52, 54, 56
How many more cars would it have had to sell during the week to meet its
goal?

Explanation

Add all the number to get a sum

The sum is 380

Then you use the different answers and add them into the sum then divide by 8

380 + 5 = 385

385/7 = 55

55 is the mean they were aiming for.
so now we know they needed 5 more cars to get a mean of 55
