Explanation:

For this, you must add
(2)/(5) + (1)/(3)

5 (3) = 15

In order to get 5 to 15, you multiply by 3, therefore

2(3) = 6

In order to get 3 to 15, you multiply by 5, therefore

1(5) = 5

Which means you now have,


(6)/(15) + (5)/(15)

Which is equal to


(11)/(14)

Now an equation can be set up

11 + X = 15

-11 -11

X = 4

Ben painted
(4)/(15) of the room
