PEMDAS: Parentheses, Exponents, Multiply, Divide, Add, Subtract.
By using PEMDAS, we can already make the equation easier by Multiplying the variables INSIDE the parentheses by whats OUTSIDE of them.
7n-7=-6-2n
Now we combine like terms.
-2n+2n=0 and 7n+2n=9n; 9n-7=-6
-7+7=0 and -6+7=-1; 9n=-1
Now we divide both sides by the coefficient, which is the number in front of the variable.
9n/9=n and -1/9=-0.1111111 repeating.
And now you know the value of n: n=0.1111 repeating (TIP: draw a line OVER the number behind the decimal thats repeating)
