Hello! :)

2/3(x-2) = 4x Simplify both sides

(2/3)(x) + (2/3)(-2) = 4x Distribute

2/3x + -4/3 = 4x

2/3x + -4/3 - 4x = 4x - 4x Subtract 4x from both sides

-10/3x + -4/3 = 0

-10/3x + -4/3 + 4/3 = 0 + 4/3 Add 4/3 to both sides

-10/3x = 4/3

(3/-10) * (-10/3x) = (3/-10) * (4/3) Multiply both sides by 3/(-10)

x = -2/5

Hope this helps!
