Greetings from Brasil...

To find the inverse of a function, just replace X for Y and vice versa

Y + 6 = 3X replacing X by Y

X + 6 = 3Y isolating y

(X + 6)/3 = Y⁻¹

Then the inverse of Y + 6 = 3X will be

Y⁻¹ = (X + 6)/3
