Answer: 4 units

Explanation:

Let ‘x’ be the Base of the Triangle.

Area = 14 square units
Height = 7 units

Therefore,
= Area = 1/2 * Base * Height
= 1/2 * x * 7 = 14
= x/2 * 7 = 14
= 7x/2 = 14
= 7x = 14 * 2 = 28
=> x = 28/7 = 4

Therefore, Base = x = 4 units

Answer:

4 units

Explanation:

the area (A) of a triangle is calculated as

A =
(1)/(2) bh ( b is the base and h the height )

given A = 14 and h = 7 , then

(1)/(2) × 7b = 14 ( multiply both sides by 2 to clear the fraction )

7b = 28 ( divide both sides by 7 )

b = 4 units
