In search of the truth, a prisoner, who has lived in a cave his whole life, has suddenly become free because his chains have unlocked. finally able to see the light and see the truth of life realizing that what he thought was real has finally turned into a lie. During his seek for the truth he sees a whole new reality that he had never seen before. It threw him out of his comfort zone. He decides to go back and share what he has now learned with his human beings but instead of being welcomed and listen to instead he is beaten to death by the other prisoners Plato's ¨Allegory of the cave¨ demonstrates the enlightenment of an archetypal hero who through intellectual freedom departs on a metal journey into the ideal plane and through compassion returns to help his fellow human beings in the cave.
