Everyone deals with stress sometimes — from little things like missing the bus or having an argument with a friend, to big things like dealing with divorce or a sick family member. Write down a couple of stressful situations that come up each week, how you dealt with them, and how you felt afterward. Are there some things you might have handled differently?

Situation: having anxiety

How to deal with it: listen to music or you can also color and draw

How I feel after: really great and better

Stressful situation: Having a ton of homework and feeling like I'm not going to have time to get it all done.

How I dealt with it: Listing to my favorite songs and thinking about all the happy things coming up in my life.

How I felt afterwards: I felt really relived after I finished all my homework, like I could just relax. The music helps to make me feel relaxed. I also felt super happy because it was the weekend and we were doing something really fun.

Stressful situation: My best friend moved away and it's been hard not being able to see her.

How I dealt with it: I text her all the time and sometimes call her. We also mail pictures to each other just to keep in touch any way we can.

How I felt afterwards: I still miss her a lot but it's gotten a lot better and I don't feel as sad about not seeing her because we have a lot of ways to keep in touch and she always tries to come visit over the summer.

Sorry that this is only 2 situations but I hope it helped :)
