During June the Westham police stopped 250 drivers for speed violations. It was found that 8% of the people who were stopped had outstanding warrants for their arrest.

250 is the 100% of drivers that police stopped, and the 8% of them had outstanding warrants for their arrest.

250 ——————- 100%
X ——————- 8%

X = 250 * 8 ➗ 100
X = 2000 ➗100
X= 20

The Answer is: 20 people had outstanding warrants for their arrest.

I hope this helps!!!
