Kim has a recipe for blueberry muffins that uses 125 grams of sugar for 1 dozen blueberry muffins. If Kim makes 48 blueberry muffins, about how many cups of sugar will she need? (1 cup sugar = 200 g)

kim will need about 2 and a half cups of sugar

a dozen is 12 so 48/12 is 4

then you multiply 4 by 125 to get 500

then divide 500 by 200 to get 2.5

Answer:

2.5 cups

Explanation:

125 grams = 12 muffins

48 muffins = x grams

125/12 x 48 = 500 grams

1 cup sugar = 200 g

500g = x cups

500/200 = 2.5 cups
