One of the best things my mom did for me was force me to take a choir class during my 8th-grade year; nearly all of my self-confidence started in that class. My teacher helped me find my voice and learn not just to which of the choir sections I belong, but how to love my voice and myself.
My therapist taught me how to cope with stressful situations, and how to find the tiniest bit of light(good) when everything seems to be dark(bad).
